Instalment Plan for Emma Cownie Art
An instalment payment plan is similar to a “Layaway” Plan: you pay instalments on the item you reserve, and the item is kept by Emma Cownie Art until it is fully paid-for. In other words, when your payment plan is approved and you have paid your first installment, we will take the art off the market and reserve it for you.
We do not ship the artwork until it is fully paid for.
You pay no interest when you buy your art via a Payment Plan. You set up your own customized payment plan via e-mail discussions, where you choose the size of the payments and the duration of the plan (up to 12 months).
If you wish to pay for any of Emma’s artwork via monthly part payments please contact us and we can arrange a schedule of payments – normally the part payment would have to be at least £50-£60 or approximately US$77-$92 (exchange rate at present) per month. Details such as your address etc could then be discussed via facebook or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
BANK TRANSFER/PAY PAL
There are two ways to make part payments – the preferred way is via the payment of a bank transfer which can be made monthly and payable to my Emma Cownie Art business account. We have also set up a PayPal attached to Emma’s email account through which collectors can pay monthly part payments to buy oil paintings.
If you have initiated a payment plan and for some reason, after having made one or more payments, wish to cancel the payment plan and receive a refund on payments already made, you may do so, with the following conditions: You must notify us immediately so that we can put the art back on the market. You will be charged a fee of 10 percent (10%) of the total price of the artwork, as a service fee and compensation for our having kept the art off the market for that period of time.
NONPAYMENT AND FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE
If you can’t make a monthly payment, you must contact us as quickly as possible. If we do not receive payment, and we do not hear from you, we will make every effort to contact you to resolve the situation. But if we receive no payment or communication from you for 60 consecutive days, you will be in default, and the payment plan will be terminated. The reserved artwork will go back on the market, and you will forfeit whatever payments you have already made.
To repeat: When you make no payments nor communicate with us for a period of 60 days or longer, the art will not be yours, and no refunds will be made.
