A Road through Chalford (Cotswolds)

An acrylic painting on linen canvas.

The village of Chalford lies along a very steep valley.  The railway from Kemple runs along side the canal and river along a viaduct into Stroud. This view is from one of the donkey tracks that run up the side of the valley behind the honey coloured houses. Read more about the history of the village aand the donkey tracks here
