The view across a valley in the Black Mountains near Llangyndr in mid Wales in summer. In the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog). The shapes are simplified so the essence of the landscape is distilled. The distant mountain is a hazy blue.

Matt varnish has been used to protect the painting from UV damage. The Panel edges are not painted so the wood edges can be seen. This work can be hung on the wall without the need for a frame.
