Derry Panorama

A view of Derry and the Guildhall from the city walls. Derry City is the only intact completely walled city in Ireland and one of the finest examples of Walled Cities in Europe. The walls are incredibly thick and are just a mile in length, that’s  1.5 km. The stones are a greyish/bluish green and in excellent condition. This section of the walls is close to Butcher’s Gate.
